Look you Hare - The Artful Hare

Hares are a familiar part of the East Anglian landscape, sitting motionless in stubble fields or running away across a green landscape when they think their camouflage has failed them. They crop up in folklore and have always inspired artists to create images.

Local publishers Mascot Media decided to put as many images by different printmakers as they could and the result is The Artful Hare by Alan Marshall, a 208pp hardback book now in its second printing. Featured artists include Robert Gillmor, who created our Swallowtail logo image, Carry Akroyd and Andrew Haslen.
