Swallowtail Print's Beautiful Brochures
Posted 25th June 2013
At Swallowtail Print we’re passionate about print. Exceptional printing leads to an exceptional response, which is what we strive for every time we create anything for one of our clients. We’re also passionate about promoting and supporting visually stunning design and art, so we thought we’d share some truly stunning examples of design and brochure printing in action to help inspire you and provide ideas for your own marketing campaigns.
‘Beautiful Brochures’ is a piece we’ll be running every month, where we showcase the most visually stunning brochures we’ve come across during that period. We’d love to hear your feedback on the designs we showcase and if you’d like to recommend a design or see your own work showcased, get in contact with us to let us know.
Collecta by Lyn Escobar
The first design we came across was entitled 'Collecta' by Lyn Escobar. The brief for this project was to create an item paying homage to items from the 60s, which we think Lyn has achieved with flying colours. Credit goes to Andysowards for exposing us to this one!
Conqueror by Felix Von Der Weppen
This piece of design work by Felix Von Der Weppen is a little more mysterious and doesn't come with an overview or designer's musings, but nonetheless a truly amazing example of brochure printing in action. Credit to the Touchey team for uncovering this gem!
Contemporary Slovenian Writers by Tomato Kosir
Last but not last is Tomato Kosir's piece on Contemporary Slovenian Writers. Tomato was tasked with creating a giveaway booklet to promote contemporary slovenian writers. The first half of the booklet represents Slovenian humanists, with the second half presenting social scientists.
Thank-you for reading the first piece in our Beautiful Brochures series. We'd love to hear your thoughts on the designs we've showcased and if you have any designs you think should feature in the next Beautiful Brochure piece.
