Wibalin® is a hardwearing uncoated paper stock with a matt, fabric-like textured finish, making it an ideal covering for hardback books. It’s available in a wide range of colours, to enhance your cover artwork and complement the theme of your book.
For a traditional hardback finish, you can use Wibalin to fully cover your book and add a metallic foiled title, then complete the finish with a printed dust jacket. There’s no need to stick to the usual black with silver text though – choose from over 50 shades of Wibalin, and don’t be afraid to choose a combination that showcases the personality of your book. Right now, we’re seeing that shades of blue are the most popular choice for hardback books.

A variety of other textures and colours are available, contact us for more details.
It is possible for us to print on Wibalin, but we may recommend adding a varnish seal afterwards for best results. If this is something you’d be interested in, please talk to our team and we’ll advise you on the possibilities.
If you’re looking for a highly-patterned cover for your book, a printed fabric may be more appropriate.
In addition to covering the book itself, Wilbalin is the perfect material to cover slipcases with.
If your book is part of a series, a slipcase will keep the editions together. They are also used to give additional protection to the book inside, and to create an impressive finished product that will look great on bookshelves.
