Binding options

The choice of binding for magazines will usually depend on the number of pages and the weight of materials used. Saddle stitching is ideal for magazines containing between 8 and 80 pages, depending on the paper weight you choose. Perfect binding is best suited to magazines with 48 or more pages.

Cover finishes

A variety of heavier materials and finishes are available to enhance the cover of your magazine. To prevent the cover from marking, it will usually be sealed with a clear aqueous coating, but you can also choose other options:

A UV varnish offers a higher level of protection, and will boost the appearance of images and colours. For a more durable finish, the outer cover can be laminated - this will give it a more luxurious appearance and greater protection against abrasions. We offer several laminate finishes such as gloss, matte, anti-scuff, and soft touch which is a matte finish with a velvety texture.

Mailing and distribution

In addition to printing your publication, we can also work with your distribution company or handle the whole mailing and distribution process for you. Please give us a call for more information.

We can offer our customers an alternative to standard polywrap envelopes. Made from plant-based starch, our mailing bags are compostable and provide a more eco-friendly choice.
